Taking collagen supplements has been a matter of controversy among experts, so according to my personal opinion I will try to help with the decision.
We know that collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and that it is produced by fibroblasts. We also know that collagen is responsible for binding cells in tissue, and which constitutes about 75-80% of the skin.
Looking at this percentage, we realize that collagen is truly important and essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin.
However, it is not easy to assimilate or “produce” collagen by taking a food supplement. If, among other variables, the molecular weight of the collagen taken is not ideal, the collagen is not absorbed, and it will have no effect, as the body will not be able to assimilate it.
That's why it's so important to choose a good collagen supplement, otherwise it's wasted money.
So here's my personal choice. After about 15 years working in the cosmetics field, for me it's a YES, and having tried some similar products I choose: PURELOGICOL!
Purelogicol uses a differentiating enzymatic process to obtain collagen with a low molecular weight, making it more bio-available, translated by kids, readily absorbed by the intestinal wall and used by the body for the much-desired cell renewal.
See that Purelogicol was formulated in super resistant capsules in order to resist stomach acid, thus ensuring maximum absorption of collagen in the intestine.
That said, small chains of collagen peptides enter the bloodstream to actively stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen.
In addition, Purelogicol is formulated with high quality pure ingredients and does not contain preservatives, dyes, gluten, lactose, sugars and yeasts, thus reducing the risk of allergies to these substances.
The dose is 3 capsules at once (the capsules are a little big), which I choose to do at night, at least for 3 months. The truth is that after the first 15 days of taking it, you already notice something different that we don't really know what to say! The skin is visibly more luminous, more uniform... as if a little velvety. Pores get smaller and I even notice less pimples (even at 36).
Those more pronounced wrinkles, of course, are still here, but with a different look, smoother.
The skin is nourished from the inside out, but never forget about anti-wrinkle creams and serums, and eye contours and the like, as they actually work from the outside in, and the combination of everything is perfect!
