The carotene Bio contains 9 mg of beta-carotene per capsule (equivalent to 4 large carrots). In the body, beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A (retinol), a nutrient that contributes to the maintenance of skin and normal vision.

Bio-Carotene is produced by a technique in which the beta-carotene is mixed in an oil matrix which is stable and provides good bioavailability.
